2018 Farm Bill Compliance
Under Section 10013 of the 2018 Farm Bill, “hemp” is defined as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
For each 1 gram (1000mg) on a dry weight basis, you can have up to 3 milligrams of hemp-derived Delta 9 THC at 0.3 percent.
Delta 9 THC gummies derived from Hemp are legal under the 2018 Farm Bill because 1) they are derived from legal hemp; and 2) the products contain a “delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
