  • CBD is one of more than 100 active compounds, called cannabinoids, present in the cannabis (hemp) plant.
  • The human body naturally produces cannabinoids via the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).
  • The ECS is responsible for regulating homeostasis in the body - in other words, maintaining a state of equilibrium.
